Ryan C. Maher, DMD. - Bio

Dr. Maher was born and raised in New Jersey and is the first of five children to become a doctor. After graduating Boonton High School he went on to Fairleigh Dickinson University where he graduated in three years. He went on to graduate dental school at U.M.D.N.J. in 1997. In early 2000 Dr. Maher pursued post-graduate training at the California Implant Institute and Southwest Implant Institute and has since earned his fellowship in The International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Additional training in 2009 with The American Academy of Facial Cosmetics has afforded him membership there as well. Dr. Maher is certified to provide Invisalign treatment. He prides himself on being an excellent family man and is married with two lovely children. "I have always treated my patients like family and because of that, I continue to grow from their referrals," he says. As a result of his dedication to his patients, his advanced clinical skills, and knowledge in the field Dr. Maher was named one of New Jersey's Top Dentists.

Dr. Maher graduated from UMDNJ (Rutgers) in 1997. He is a member of the ADA, NJDA, PCDS, ICIO, AAID, and AACO. Dr. Maher has set a goal to not only improve the quality of dentistry, but to provide an entire new era in dentistry. One that allows the patient to be an integral part of a dentist/patient team approach. Through this philosophy, dentistry can be delivered in a knowledgeable, safe, ethical manner. Dr. Maher has owned practices in Montclair, Hawthorne, Paterson, and Nutley. He currently owns offices in Totowa as well as Sparta, New Jersey. In addition is in the process of a partnership in Hackensack, New Jersey. Throughout his career Dr. Maher worked in several different private practices, amassed countless hours of continuing education in both clinical dentistry and business management. He also traveled on a medical mission to Nicaragua, and helped many individuals along the way. Living happily in Wayne, NJ with his wife Jennifer, his daughter, Alexa, and son, Tyler, he now finds himself at the pinnacle of his career lecturing on key aspects of dentistry ethics and prosperity.
